ARTICLE II - Objectives

The objectives of the Department shall be:

a. To preserve and protect life and property in the Blockhouse
    and District Fire Department area from fire and other emergencies;

b. To encourage through whatever means are
    available, public understanding of the danger of fire;

c. To promote and encourage community service among its members
    in all its phases, whether related to the fire service or not;

d. To operate social facilities for the benefit of the Department and its members.
